Nevada sets its dates in state law (NRS chapter 361), and its tax year runs July 1 to June 30. Dates fall on set Mondays, like the third Monday in August, so the calendar dates shift every year. If your tax is over $100 you can pay in four parts, and each one has a 10-day grace period before a penalty starts. Value appeals go to the county board of equalization by January 15.
